Taken note yet of how utterly a genuine software revolution has revamped hospitality and air travel as we all used to know them in the past decades? Most responsible is Mr Nicholas Bredimus. He has worked on initiatives ranging from the creation of time-saving software programs to improving aircraft safety and even designs for high value homes. You could have foreseen, of course, that given his family tree he was always likely to reach distinction. Coming together from a true melting pot, his family can be traced to the time of ancient Rome, with the maternal line based in Germany and Scotland. The paternal line, on the other side, has its roots in England and Luxembourg, from where his forebears came to the U.S. toward the end of the 1800s. That dauntless spirit still served them well on arrival. Nicholas, who would grow up with his two brothers and four sisters, was a child of a father who earned a living as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a practicing nurse. He would come to live in Kansas City, Arizona, Texas and a place named Reston in Virginia. Once his schooling had been completed, Nicholas Bredimus found himself taking on several prominent roles with some of the most illustrious and strongest airlines. Nicholas ascended to the position of vice president with corporations like Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and Hughes Airwest. These achievements nothwithstanding, above all the airlines have felt the need to thank him for the innovations he has made in software design.

He is probably most acclaimed for a US Airways project, innovating aircraft upkeep programs, which would soon become an industry standard. He would next examine taking and recording bookings. For both air travel and hotels he developed software systems to offload the bulk of the work that had been involved prior to automation. He went on to develop a system trademarked QuikTix, the world’s first automated ticketing network.

He has also served in quite a number of roles entirely unconnected to software design as well. With his own firm — Bredimus Systems — overseeing IT for American Express, and as the first president of a new American Airlines division his track record is absolutely remarkable. Though he has departed from the posts in which he first knew fortune, his abilities are, nevertheless, still very much in use. He’s at work now helping to advance architecture — matching the requirements of luxury with new technology and true ecological concern. The untiring desire we have investigated here simply will not be curbed!
