Naveen Jain is most likely to be found doing philanthropic work, aside from doing business at his co-founded company called Intelius Inc, a leading business that provides background checks and identity theft protection services. Not only is Naveen Jain listed as one of the 400 wealthiest Americans by Forbes in 2000, Intelius’ CEO is also the recipient of other reputable awards such as the Albert Einstein Technology Medal, the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the WSA Industry Achievement Award.

Naveen Jain’s success, however, does not stop there, for he and his company are equally passionate about giving back to the community. Since the youth is considered as the hope of humanity’s future, it is no wonder that he has taken on the opportunity to do what he must for the wellbeing of children. Whenever it is possible, he and his company, and even his family, push efforts to support a diverse number of nonprofit aid groups. Several of these associations and organizations are the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, the Indian American Education Foundation, and Child Rights and You (CRY); with most of their contributions given in monetary form. Another institution that they aid is the Seattle Children’s Hospital, which is committed to improving the medical conditions of children.

A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and XLRI Jamshedpur in India, Naveen Jain also focuses his efforts on campaigns and charities that help contribute to the advancement of education. Some of the many academic programs and foundations that he, along with his company, has served are Hopelink, the Vedic Cultural Center and the University Preparatory Academy.

He and his company, Intelius also afforded funding for the University of Washington scholarship program, which supports undergraduate majors of engineering, business and computer science.
