In February 2009, Visible Technologies installed Customer Interaction Management (CIM) expert Dan Vetras as its new chief executive officer. With this move, the company hopes to sustain the momentum former CEO Adam Selig initiated in 2008. Vetras expressed his excitement in joining the Visible Technologies team.

Dan Vetras prides himself with 25 years of experience in CIM, covering aspects of M&A, technology, business development, and sales management. Prior to Visible Technologies, Vetras led Talisma, a highly regarded CIM services provider in Bellevue, Washington. As its CEO and president, Vetras was a crucial factor in its sale to nGenera in 2008.

Vetras was president and CEO at Captura Software before joining the Talisma team. He orchestrated Concur Technologies’ takeover of the said company in 2002.

Dan Vetras‘ predecessor only had praises for him. Selig believes that Vetras was the best person to take his place if the company wanted to continue improving the company’s growth and productivity. Turning over the management of the company to somebody who is Seattle-based was also a deciding factor.

In his new position as divisional president of strategic alliances, Selig is concentrating on fortifying key partnerships and distribution channels. He occupied Vetras’ position for over two years, during which he made Visible Technologies not only visible, but successful as well.

Dan Vetras is inheriting a company that grew its sales by 300% in 2008. In the same period, Forrester Research hailed the company a “strong performer.” The firm also struck partnerships with M80 and Wunderman, both WPP companies, that same year.
