With recent lets to three major media companies, Sheffield is making a niche for itself in the letting market. The letting co-agents of Knight Frank and Lane Walker leased 6,500 square feet of office area for the Turner’s Investment development at MidCity House.

Tom Bottrill, who is the Sheffield Office partner at Knight Frank, highlighted that the MidCity House has a great location in Sheffield city centre, it offers many facilities to its corporate occupants. Moreover, having a historical location adds to the value and charm of the building.

The three media firms to have let office space in the complex are Rapture Promotions, 3squared, and KDA Web Services the first one is an advertising and marketing firm, the second a software design company, and the third a website hosting company. The other two companies fall behind Rapture Promotions in terms of the area acquired as Rapture has taken up a massive 4,500 square feet of office space. The deal was clinched quite late in the negotiation process.

The completion of the crucial second phase of the redevelopment project with the leasing out of the new office space and the building of a new glass reception area at the entrance is an important landmark for the building. However, MidCity House still has several vacant suites on the second and third floors of the building. These suites range from 800 to 8,000 sq ft in space, and should offer a lot of flexibility for desk space rental to prospective tenants.
